About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We took a cruise on the beautiful Carnival Horizon in October, 2022. One of the ports we stopped at was La Romana, Dominican Republic. Join us on our journey as we explored the countryside on this excursion, booked through Carnival Cruise Lines. We boarded the air conditioned buses and headed to our first stop at the Caves of Wonder (Taino Caves), where there's a lush landscape leading to the entrance of the cave. This cave is still a living marvel, with water dripping everywhere. After we left the caves, we drove down the well-developed highway systems to a little mercado that sold everything from food to souvenirs. The final stop on this excursion took us to Altos de Chavon where we explored this ancient looking town, starting in the amphitheater and then spending time in the quaint town where we stopped at a cafe and took in the sights of the area. Upon returning to the ship, at the conclusion of this 4-hour excursion, we were quick to change our clothes and record our recap of the day for you. We hope you enjoy this video and if you've done this excursion, or been to the same stops, we'd love to hear about your experiences! As always, thank you for tuning in!
