On Day 8 we got to visit the wonderful Icelandic Town of Akureyri. We explored the town independently which was very easy! We took a pre-booked whale watching excursion near the arctic circle. We enjoy a wonderful night on entertainment onboard and experience some amazing food. The ship had an occupancy of 3,500 during the voyage and we expected it to be busy as this was during the school holidays. During this cruise we visited a number of ports in Norway and Iceland over 14 nights. We hope you find this tour helpful and we hope it gives you a clear indication of what amenities Princess Cruises staterooms have to offer. We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked. Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port.
