If you're a parent with young kids, the Oceaneer Club on Disney Cruise Line ships will be your best friend. My son wanted to be in the kids club the entire cruise, and I don't blame him. You check in by going down a slide, meet characters like Spider-Man and Chewbacca, and there are activities running all day long. But the coolest thing in there wasn't the slide or the characters. It was the automatic handwashing stations. They are legitimately fun to use! You stick your hands into these pods, and warm water and soap automatically spiral around your hands for exactly 20 seconds, like a car wash for your hands. It feels like something from the year 2050. But here's the real magic: it made my 5-year-old son excited to wash his hands. That's a bigger feat of Imagineering than any animatronic, in my opinion. I only saw these at the kids club, but I wish they were everywhere. On the ship. At the parks. In my home. Because after using these, it's hard to go back to dumb sinks.
