I've sailed with Disney 21 times. The Disney Adventure is unlike anything I've experienced on a Disney Cruise Line ship — and not always in ways you'd expect. Here's what actually surprised me on Day 1 and Day 2. In this video: 0:00 - Intro: 21 DCL cruises, one big surprise 1:00 - Escalators (yes, really) 1:30 - 13+ elevators (and why that's wild) 1:45 - The "hotel lobby" problem 2:00 - San Fransokyo Street: the area that will blow your mind 4:15 - The Beauty and the Beast & tea shop 5:30 - More authentic Asian cuisine than any DCL ship 6:45 - The elevator problem: no navigation inside 7:20 - Accessible dining and wider hallways 8:00 - Deck 15 and the missing Deck 14 (fun fact) 9:00 - Can you walk around the ship? 10:00 - Gender-neutral multi-stall bathrooms 11:30 - No major atrium — boarding is different 12:00 - Final thoughts: is it worth it? The Disney Adventure was originally built for another cruise line before Disney took it over. That history explains a lot, from the escalators to the layout, and once you know what to expect, you'll enjoy the ship so much more. 👇 Sailing the Disney Adventure?
