Stavanger is a city in Southern Norway with a beautiful harbour. Less busy than Bergen, and even more walkable, the old town is right by the harbour and is dominated by Valbergtårnet, an octagonal observation tower from the 1850's. My video keeps coming back to Valberg as it feels like the centrepiece to the town - despite some of the videos being dominated by a huge 300m long cruise ship, the Aida Perla which slipped into port while we were asleep. As with my Bergen video, I've used a piece of music by Scott Buckley - Beautiful Oblivion, as it suits the grandeur of the subject. I hope he doesn't mind that I only used the last part of the song to fit the length of the video.
