You will find endless fun or relaxation at this resort and everything in between. The resort is located on the Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort property which houses both the Barcelo Bavavo Beach (adult only) and Barcelo Bavaro Palace (adult and family) which is approximately 20 minutes from the airport. The open air lobby is the heart of the resort and where you'll find the front reception, guest services, the tour desk, internet cafe and the Premium Level Lounge. The main lobby provides direct access to many areas of the resort including a the theatre, the lobby bar, the Caribe Restaurant and as you'll see, the ocean and pool area. There are many areas of this resort that set it apart of from others in the area and the Caribbean but here's what adults and families will appreciate most. A whopping 80% of the rooms at this resort have beach/ocean views and you'll find all the amenities you need for a perfect couples vacation or a vacation getaway with friends. The beach is unbeatable, the pool is massive and includes a jacuzzi in the middle, the pool bar offers fantastic drinks, two a la carte restaurants, an amazingly fun lobby fun and adjacent theatre, plus, you have access to all the amenities at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace.
