YouTube Video Description

Are these some of the best views in Wales? See for yourself as I walk from Rhossili Bay to the tip of Worms Head on the beautiful Gower Peninsula in South Wales. From the village of Rhossili which overlooks the long sandy beach, it’s not a long walk along the clifftops past an iron age fort to the causeway which leads to Worms Head. I think Rhossili Beach is one of the best beaches in Wales. You can only cross 2 and a half hours either side of low tide. On the headland, you get spectacular views of the Gower Peninsula and if you are lucky, you’ll get to see some seals as well. I saw quite a few basking on the rocks enjoying the sun. As you walk along the carboniferous limestone headland you get to cross the natural rocky bridge to the outer part of Worms Head known as the Devils Bridge. From the top of the cliffs, you can also see the seals swimming under the clear blue water as well as across Carmarthen Bay towards West Wales. If you haven’t visited the Gower it is definitely worth a trip, the area is designated an AONB, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Tip: When you do visit bring plenty of change as the National Trust car park was £6 and didn’t accept cards (who carries that much change these days)! 0:00 Intro To The Gower 0:47 Views Of Rhossili Bay 3:25 The Iron Age Fort 4:26 Crossing The Causeway 5:58 The Inner Head 7:07 The Seal 7:50 Devils Bridge 8:23 The Outer Head #Gower #VisitWales #WormsHead ‘Walking To Worms Head, Rhossili Bay on the Gower in South Wales’ - Filmed July 2020 More travel videos and other places to see in Wales 🎥 Other Places To See In Wales: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvLoC9ZcTe_Qysb-ZGss8B6Ajq_JwRTIJ 🎥 Three Cliffs Bay, Gower: https://youtu.be/jhImpmUXWsk 🎥 Exploring The Welsh Coast: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvLoC9ZcTe_TIM3_sc4ObpICdOlnhDjqI “THE MERCH “ 👕 FlyDriveExplore MERCH “Yes, We are tourists T-Shirts”: https://teespring.com/stores/fly-drive-explore EQUIPMENT 🔴 Wonder what cameras and kit we use, please check our UK Amazon Page: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/flydriveexplore USA Amazon Page: https://www.amazon.com/shop/flydriveexplore Remember - Not All Vloggers Say ‘HiGuys!!!!!!’ CONTACT US at http://www.flydriveexplore.com TWITTER https://twitter.com//FlyDriveExplore FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/flydriveexplore/ INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/flydriveexplore/ PINTEREST https://uk.pinterest.com/flydriveexplore/
