(Bruges) Belgium, Markt Square, Belfort, Stadhuis, beautiful UNESCO listed 4K Walking

We walked from the train station to (Bruges) Markt Square, just awesome. Anywhere you walk your senses are just smashed, the sights, sounds and the smell of Bruges is awesome, not just the smell of food, chocolates, frites (Belgian chips), waffles and fine dining but the smell of old-world charm and history. Just to touch these incredible pieces of history that dates back over a thousand years. To stand in Markt Square, a site that was once a castle to defend against the Viking raiders has been operating a market since 958CE. It just blows my mind. Belfort (Bruges Belfry), Stadhuis (city hall), Church of our Lady, houses a statue of Madona and child by Michael Angelo which is the only work of art of his outside of Italy. The Church of Holy blood which is said to house a cloth with the blood of Jesus Christ. Saint John's Hospital which is now a museum that houses 300 works of art by Pablo Picasso and others. The list just goes on.... It is truly a remarkable city, an absolute must if you are traveling in Belgium.
