About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

In our last full day of our Viking Rinda river cruise, we take you through a little of the capital city of Hungary--Budapest. The sailing into this historic city the night before was magnificant with each of the marquee sites along the Danube River lit up in glorious fashion. The next morning, we take our last complimentary excursion of this Danube Waltz cruise which begins with a bus tour and then we stop at Castle Hill--an UNESCO World Heritiage site--and walk up to the Matthias Church and take you inside this beautiful structure which was the site of the coronation of two Hungarian Kings. After returning to the Viking Rinda, we explore Budapest on our own with a stop at the Central Market which is Budapest's oldest and largest food market and then for a bite of authentic Hungarian food. On the way back to our ship, we make a stop at the Shoes on the Danube Bank which is a somber memorial to the Jewish people who were killed between 1944 and 1945 along these very banks.
