After a very bumpy embarkation day, can Holland America Nieuw Statendam redeem itself? Today is Day 2 aboard Nieuw Statendam, and we're at Half Moon Cay (Carnival Cruise Line's private island). We're going to tender ashore and see all that the island has to offer. White sands and beautiful turquoise waters are calling our names, and we're going to kick back and take it all in! Back on board, we'll try Holland's pizza and see how it stacks up to Norwegian, Celebrity, and Royal Caribbean. Later, we've got dining reservations at Pinnacle Grill (Holland's specialty steakhouse restaurant). We'll close out the evening at one of our new favorite cruise ship venues, BB King's Blues Club.
