Promotional video of Carnival's former Festivale. She was originally built as the Transvaal Castle in 1961 for the Union-Castle Line. In 1977 Carnival purchased the ship and named her the Festivale. She became the third ship in their fleet and became fleet mates to the Mardi Gras and Carnivale. Interestingly, she was the last Carnival ship to sport a traditional funnel. She left the Carnival fleet in 1996 and sailed as the Island Breeze for Dolphin and Premier Cruise Line. In addition, she also sailed as the Big Red Boat III later in her career for Premier Cruise Line. She was scrapped in 2003-2004.
