Date Filmed: July 30, 2021 Hello Happy Travelers! Let’s Party On The Mardi! Welcome to the Carnival Mardi Gras! This week we are providing daily content to get excited for the upcoming inaugural sailing of Carnival’s newest ship, Mardi Gras. This is a very innovative ship with lots of new features and experiences! Today is a very special event! Carnival has invited us to be one of the first people to ever board the ship during a media preview event, called Sip & Sea! Carnival really set us up for an awesome day! Today we were able to see Carnival royalty such as President Christine Duffy & Vice President of Trade Marketing & Sales Aldolfo Perez! We got to witness some historic occasions such as ribbon cutting ceremonies for BOLT (the first rollercoaster at sea) and Rudy's Sea Grille (with celebrity chef Rudy Sodamin)! We were also very lucky to have some food venues open to sample as well as tour multiple stateroom types! We were also allowed to free roam the ship and explore the six unique themed zones new to this ship type: Grand Central, The Ultimate Playground, The French Quarter, Lido, Summer Landing, and La Piazza! We really appreciate and enjoy fun theming and these zones are definitely a highlight of this ship! Thank you so much to Carnival Cruise Line for inviting us to this special event to get a sneak peek of this amazing ship!
