I'm so thankful to have partnered with Carnival Cruise Lines to attend the naming ceremony of their newest ship The Panorama. The Panorama calls Long Beach her home port and it was so neat to have the opportunity to watch all of the excitement in celebrating her first sailing. Hosted by John Heald, the very popular Carnival Brand Ambassador and senior cruise director, the evening was full of pure celebration which included an appearances by the USC Marching Band along with some words from the lovely President of Carnival Cruise Lines Christine Duffy. The ceremony also included the blessing of the ship and of course the official ship naming was done by the Panorama Godmother Vanna White! What stuck me the most about the event was the amazing amount of pride in the air, the energy was amazing. The Carnival ship employees participated in the event and you could just see the excitement that they had for this ship that they would be calling home for the next few months. In this video you'll also see President Christine Duffy speak about not only the ship, but the passion for employees, the Carnival brand and the charities and military partnerships that Carnvial supports. I just adore the passion and love that she puts into this company.
