Carnival Sunshine Hit With Another Delay!! 🚨⚓️ Carnival cruisers in Norfolk just got hit with another delay — the Carnival Sunshine was eight hours late returning to port, and guests weren’t happy. After battling rough weather, the ship didn’t dock until 2:45 p.m. instead of the scheduled 8 a.m. arrival. Debarkation didn’t start until after 3, and new guests couldn’t park or board until nearly 6 p.m. Carnival sent a message asking for patience and cooperation and offered a $25 onboard credit to make up for the delay and missed lunch — but passengers online are calling that “a joke” for losing almost a full day onboard. The Sunshine is now sailing an 8-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, and Carnival says the itinerary won’t be affected.
