Back to cruising!!! My wife and I had a cruise scheduled for April 2020 and it was postponed a bunch, but we kept getting credits and such that we got a second room and brought the kids (and had lots of onboard credit!) With rules for kids we had to wait until they were vaxxed and spring break worked out great! Last day! Woke up with a cold (that I ended up having for two weeks) but made the most of it! Chill morning with breakfast, games and puzzles. The kids did the SkyRide and Ropes Course when they opened which was a good thing as the wind shut them down soon after (kids were in line for a second sky ride but had to get out.) Guys Burgers and then Groove For St Jude!!! Played some games and then I went down to 90s music trivia...8 way tie but I won the dance off (kid got the ship on a stick, I got champagne.) Then some Tea Time and off to the back pool and hot tubs. Jess and I are newly platinum so we raged at the platinum party and got to meet Gabi! Last dinner was super sad (best wait staff in a while) but at least we got Baked Alaska!!!! Packed up at night and had one last rueben. Next morning up for sunrise! Coffee and some last ice cream cones and ping pong. Got packed up but there were big delays so spent a couple hours on the Havana Lounge! Got off, stored our luggage for $5 per piece and walked around Galveston getting geocaches and food! Uber to the airport for an uneventful flight home and then a drive from Chicago to Madison. Had an amazing time! Jess and I might do a QA session on cruising with kids, etc. Also included a couple clips I missed on day 2 at the end. Will make a menu/food vlog video soon too! Subscribe!
