Creator's Key Takeaways

I shouldn't be asked 10 times while I eat, do you want to buy the internet? Do you want to buy the drink package?

Every place on the ship doesn't have to be a party zone. Every place doesn't have to be a disco.

This dynamic pricing is is is pure evil. It's not pure evil, but it's tough because you used to with cruise ships, you used to be able to wait to the end.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

This week on Cruise Banter with Bill, we’re talking about cruise trends that I think need to end—and the cruise trends I’d love to see more of. After more than 70 cruises, I’ve seen a lot of changes in the cruise industry, and not all of them have been for the better! We’ll discuss things like constant upselling, crowded ships, app overload, shorter port stays, and some of the things that make me shake my head every time I cruise. But it’s not all complaints! We’ll also talk about the trends I hope cruise lines embrace more, including longer port days, better loyalty perks, more included dining options, more solo cruiser benefits, and bringing back some of the relaxation that cruising used to be known for.
