We’re finally back home after two cruises on the Star Princess and a wonderful Love Boat group cruise on the Regal Princess — and today I’m giving you a recap of everything, including a big update about the Regal Princess leaving Galveston. 🚢 Regal Princess Leaving Galveston in March 2026 Many of you asked about Regal Princess’s future in Galveston. She will remain in Galveston through March 22, 2026, and that voyage will reposition her to Fort Lauderdale, where she’ll begin sailing Caribbean itineraries. Galveston continues to grow rapidly — they’re planning seven cruise terminals, and nearly every major cruise line is expanding there. But for now, it looks like Princess will be stepping away from Galveston for at least the near future. 🛄 Disembarkation Recap & Travel Tips We flew in and out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), though many guests used Hobby Airport (HOU). Uber prices varied dramatically, and we also share what happened with our disembarkation excursion to the Johnson Space Center — including how some in our group smartly handled the fact that the excursion only dropped at Bush Airport. If you’ve never been to the Johnson Space Center, it is absolutely worth your time — trams, historic exhibits, the Saturn V rocket, Mission Control, Rocket Park, and much more. 💙 Love Boat Group Cruise Highlights We had 71 Let’s Go! family members on this cruise, and it was truly a joy. Meet & greet events Group dinners nightly Sailaway with the Love Boat cast Outstanding entertainment Group photos New friendships made This group exceeded every expectation and we cannot thank you enough for being part of it. 🎶 Entertainment Onboard Entertainment was amazing all week — production shows, magicians, live music, and especially the late-night sets in the Piazza.
