Day 7 | Hollywood Studios| Ogas Cantina | Dapper Day | Magic kingdom | Disney World + Cruise Dec '23

Hello and welcome to day 7 of our holiday, our first full day at #waltdisneyworld! We start off at Hollywood Studios on Dapper Day managing to ride all the big rides and visiting Oga's Cantina and Sci-fi dine in before heading to watch Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom in the evening. Enjoy! So a nice relaxed start to the day, compared to all my early mornings on the ship! We catch the skyliner over the #hollywoodstudios and start the day with a competitive run through Toy Story Mania. Then we managed to get on Slinky Dog Dash, such a great coaster but not too extreme. Definitely a good introduction coaster! Then it's time for our Oga's Cantina reservation. We had a great time sampling some of the different drinks in there. We've been a few different times now, and there are some changes now that we don't like as much, it's still an awesomely themed bar. We then grabbed a ronto wrap for breakfast, one of my favourite quick snacks in the parks, although I prefer the lunch one to the breakfast one. The we round off our time with battling the first order on Rise of the Resistance. Such a great experience this one, more than just a ride! We then head out of Galaxy's Edge and have a look in the shops down Hollywood Boulevard before heading on Rock and Roller Coaster, such awesome acceleration but no recording on that ride. We then grab a Joffreys and a giant pink donut before heading through some more shops. Then we got on Alien swirling saucers and liberated some Coaxium with Hondo Onaka in Smugglers run! Such great fun. By this time we were pretty hungry and luckily we had Sci-Fi dine in reservation booked for lunch. An amazing location where you sit in cars watching cartoons on a movie screen as if you were at a drive in theatre. Food is really tasty, although the air-con was set to Arctic mode! So cold! To warm ourselves up we headed for some fire effects over at Indianan Jones stunt spectacular! This show has been on for years but still is great fun to watch. And a nice rest for your feet in the middle of the day! The I headed onto Tower of Terror before we headed out of the park for a brief rest in the room. We had a quick stop in the Riviera resort to look around the shop and the cafe. Such a beautiful resort. For the evening we headed over to Magic Kingdom to watch Happily ever after, as due to christmas parties this would be one of the few nights it was on. We grabbed dinner at Columbia harbour house and grab a different spot for Happily Ever After as it was busy! Being one of the few nights it was on really packs in the crowds. I love this show though, it's a close call between this and Fantasmic! as my favourite show. After the crowds cleared out we managed to jump on Seven Dwards mine train and Pirates of the Caribbean before calling it a night! Such an awesome day.
