Disney Magic: Bridgetown, Barbados

Another day in paradise and another island to visit. Day 4 brought us to the island of Barbados and another excursion to enjoy. We took part in the DCL excursion, 5-Star Catamaran and Turtle Encounter (B03). After a short bus ride, we boarded our catamaran and set sail. We sailed past the sights of Barbados before our first snorkeling stop. We had 30 minutes to snorkel. We saw some beautiful fish as we snorkeled around a shipwreck before getting back onboard and heading to our second stop. At our second stop, it was time for more snorkeling, but this time, we not only saw fish, but we also came across some turtles and stingrays. We also snorkeled with Tarpons, these fish were huge, and it was very neat to see so many of them! It was then time for lunch onboard and we were treated to a delicious buffet with fish, chicken, and pasta to name a few. After lunch, we had some time to go swimming before heading back to port. At port, we did a little shopping before getting back onboard the Magic. Back onboard, we took advantage of our Platinum Castaway gift and got some Prosecco. This was great, as the ship wasn't allowed to serve any alcohol. We spent some time at the adult pool before making our way to Fathoms to play TV Tunes Trivia. We created a power team, and we finally won a trivia, the Mickey Medallion was ours! We then split up for a while, Kari spent some time reading about zombies and Bill explored the ship, looking for hidden Mickey's. After our break, it was time to head to dinner. It was Pirate Night, but since it's not our favorite menu, we headed up to Palo. We had an amazing dinner, Kari finally ordered the gnocchi, the steaks were top-notch, and we ended dinner with the fantastic chocolate souffles. After dinner, we headed to the Walt Disney Theater to watch Jonathan Burns. His show was hilarious, and we hope that we will be lucky enough to see him again on another ship! It was then time for the Pirate Party, great music, great characters and amazing fireworks at sea, how can you not love it! It was a great way to end our day in Barbados.
