Disney Treasure: Castaway Cay

Castaway Day, one could say this is the best and also the worst day of the cruise. On one hand, we're spending the day at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, but most of the time, it's also the last day of your trip. Our Castaway day started with us changing up breakfast a little bit and going for the sit-down breakfast in 1923. It was a nice change of pace from Marceline Market, and we enjoyed our breakfast very much! After breakfast, it was time to get off the ship and make our way on to the island. We took a leisurely walk past the family beach, looking through the gift shops as we passed. Our final destination was to Serenity Bay, the adults only beach on Castaway. Once we arrived, we secured some chairs, some drinks (Hello Conk Cooler!) and made our way into the water. As we were hanging out, we heard the ship horn going off, after a few minutes, we saw the Disney Dream sailing by, we had heard a horn battle! Another first for us, we've never seen another Disney ship while we've been at Castaway, it was definitely a sight to behold! Eventually, we headed to the Serenity Bay BBQ, there were a lot of adults only cruisers on board, so the BBQ had quite the line. But it moved quickly and soon we were munching on burgers and other goodies. After lunch, we said goodbye to Serenity Bay and headed toward the snorkeling lagoon, here Bill explored the area, located the statues and saw lots of fish! Sadly, it was then time to leave the island and head back onboard the Treasure.
