About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
It has been almost 3 years since our last cruise and our last visit to Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. For as excited as we may be to get back onto the island, we have to wait first for the "all clear" to disembark. In the meantime, we stopped in 1923 for some breakfast before going on the "Walking the Wish" ship tour. Breakfast in 1923 is a sit-down alternative option to going to Marceline Market for the buffet dining. The "Walking the Wish" tour, better known as the "Art of the Theme Tour" on the other ships, is a reservation-required event. For about an hour this tour focus' on the main areas of decks 3, 4, & 5. From what we're told, each tour varies depending on the guide. After our tour we made our way to the gangway and off of the ship to Castaway. For this stay on the island, we made a beeline to the adult's only area, Serenity Bay. The water at Serenity is shallow but comforting to be back in one of our happy places.
