We started Day 2 aboard the Disney Wonder expecting our first port of call: Catalina Island and the city of Avalon just off the California coast. Unfortunately, high winds canceled that port and gave us an impromptu Day at Sea, which is something we otherwise wouldn't have had. We tried a variety of food options around the ship, checked out the main dining room for lunch, which has a different menu and experience versus dinner, and enjoyed several different entertainment options throughout the day. For dinner, we at Tiana's Place, which ended up being our favorite of the whole trip. And then we saw Frozen The Musical, which is one of our favorite stage shows, and it was even better on the Disney Wonder. Following the show, we enjoyed the Pirate Night festivities, such as the dance party and fireworks at sea, which is something unique to Disney Cruise Line.
