Duane's second stop on his chicken wing world tour is Canada! Spicy Maple Wings Ingredients • 8 – 12 whole, uncooked chicken wings • 1 tsp butter, melted • ¼ cup maple syrup • ¼ cup Louisiana-style hot sauce – We love Frank’s • 2 tbsps. packed brown sugar • ¼ teaspoon salt • ¼ teaspoon pepper • ¼ tsp garlic powder Directions 1. Preheat oven to 400F. 2. Place wings aside and mix all other ingredients together in a small bowl. 3. Cover a sheet pan with foil and spray with cooking spray, or otherwise grease the pan. This step prevents the wings won’t sticking to the pan as they cook. 4. Place the wings on the sheet pan arranging them to not touch each other. 5. Cook wings 35 to 40 minutes. If necessary, drain excess fat from the sheet pan. 6. Once the skin has begun to brown and crisp, use a basting brush to coat the wings as best you can. Usually, they are ready for this step within 40 minutes. 7. After coating, put the wings back into the oven for 5 minutes. 8. Place a second coat on the wings and return to the oven for a final 5 minutes. You may want to reserve a small amount of sauce for a final coating after taking them out of the oven. I usually do not need to do this, however you can do it for extra saucy wings. 9. Plate the wings and serve them up as is or with your favorite dressing like ranch or blue cheese. #chickenwings #hotwings #nashville #nashvillehotchicken #buffalowings #buffalowingsrecipe #chicken #cruisenorwegian #ncl #osheehansncl #canada #maple
