The Carnival Glory has two main dining room restaurants, the Platinum and the Golden. Each restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although I enjoyed lunch and dinner in the Platinum MDR. The food was delicious and hot in each occasion and the dining crew were wonderful. I did not do breakfast in the MDR on this cruise. Breakfast is served with open seating, while dinner has assigned seating times (early and late) or any-time dining without assigned seating. On sea days, the dining room offers a brunch menu. Breakfast and Brunch: Open Seating: Guests can choose their seating time. Breakfast Menu: Includes pancakes, eggs, cereal, and breakfast meats. Sea Day Brunch: Combines breakfast items (French toast, eggs, breakfast meats) with lunch items (steak and eggs, mac 'n' cheese). Dinner: Assigned Seating: Guests are assigned to either early or late dining. Early Seating: Typically at 6:00 p.m. Late Seating: Typically at 8:15 p.m. Dress Code: While cruise casual is generally acceptable, elegant attire is requested for formal evenings. Dress Code: For the ladies, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, or elegant skirts and blouses are suggested. For gentlemen, dress slacks, dress shirts, and a sport coat are recommended. Other Dining Options: In addition to the Platinum Restaurant, the Carnival Glory offers a variety of other dining options, including Guy's Burger Joint, Big Chicken, Carnival Kitchen, Seafood Shack, and The Emerald Steakhouse.
