After the tour of the forts, we all get back on the bus and travel to the world famous El Yunque Rainforest! What a site to see this truly was! The ride up there was absolutely breathtaking! Once we got to the top, we stopped at a beautiful overlook tower which you could climb up and get a full view from the top of the rainforest! Some of us went to the top while others stayed down below. After visiting the tower, we drove a few minutes down the road to a huge waterfall that was flowing off the side of a mountain! It was spectacular to see and you could even climb up the rocks on the side of the falls to get to the very top! After leaving the waterfall, we got a chance to stop at a local store on the way back to Old San Juan. It was so cool being able to go in and see all of the local goods that they were selling! We even got a homemade mango candy bar which we all enjoyed on the ride back to the ship.
