Holland America has sold four of its ships.Two of those, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, will join Fred Olsen cruises and be renamed Bolette and Borealis. Delivery is expected in September, according to a statement by Fred Olsen parent company Bonheur ASA. The other two, Maasdam and Veendam, will be transferring to an unknown company in August. Assuming the suspected outcome for Carnival Inspiration is the same as Carnival Fantasy which is in route to be scrapped in Turkey, the previously announced scrapping of the Costa Victoria, and P&O's recently departed Oceana, 8 of the 13 ships that have identified to be sold by Carnival. Carnival still has not announced names of any of those ships.
