Day 4 aboard Holland America’s Koningsdam takes us on our second day in San Francisco — but this time, we trade walking shoes for a rental car and head out on a scenic road trip to Half Moon Bay and Golden Gate Park. 🚗 Morning Adventure- After logging over 20,000 steps the day before, we start with a drive down the California coast to Half Moon Bay Airport for breakfast at the charming Pilot Light Café. 🌊 Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail- We stroll the Poplar Beach section of the trail, soaking in Pacific Ocean views, spotting wildlife, and enjoying the fresh coastal air. 🌸 Golden Gate Park- Gardens & Windmills Back in San Francisco, we explore Golden Gate Park, visiting the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden and its iconic Dutch windmill, plus the park’s second windmill surrounded by vibrant blooms. 🍲 Fisherman’s Wharf Favorites- After returning the rental car, we warm up with a bowl of clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at the famous Boudin Bakery. 🎶 Evening Onboard Entertainment- Back on the Koningsdam, we enjoy live music at Rolling Stone Rock Room, Billboard Onboard, and BB King’s Blues Club.
