In today's holiday vlog, we're sharing the most versatile cookie dough recipe-one easy dough that can be turned into multiple Christmas cookies with simple mix-ins and toppings. And of course making a must-dash have stop at Publix for our chicken tender pub-sub fix. #christmascookies #easysugarcookiedough #publixsub #bakingvlog Cookie Dough Recipes: Raspberry Pecan Snowball Cookie: 2 sticks butter unsalted 1/2 cup powered sugar(plus 1/4 cup to roll dough in) 1 tsp almond extract 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 & 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 cup chopped pecans 1/4 tsp salt raspberry jam Combine butter, powered sugar, & extracts and mix well. Next add flour, salt, pecans, & mix. Scoop dough into 1 in cookie scooper and use thumb to create well to put jam. Add tsp of jam to well and then cover with dough. Cover jam completely with dough and put on lined cookie sheet. Bake 350 15-18 minutes until golden brown on bottom. Cool slightly then roll n powered sugar :) Christmas Drop Cookie Dough: 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter softened 2 cups granulated sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1tsp baking soda 1tsp cream of tartar 1tsp salt 4 cups all-purpose flour any mix-ins/toppings Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together all dry ingredients and then add to the wet. Chill dough 30 minutes. Add in any toppings you like. Bake 350 for 13-15 minutes. Perfect for Santa!
