Creator's Key Takeaways
We are in Hawaii. Those are the West Maui mountains. It's our first sunset here in Hawaii and it's a beautiful one.
We're going to be taking a little hike through a rainforest here. Check out a waterfall. Maybe go swimming.
It's a type of clumping bamboo known in Hawaiian as ohhe. It's part of a very special group of plants here in Hawaii known as the canoe plants.
Very pretty. I'm noticing that some of the trails to get down to the waterfall look kind of treacherous.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
We visited Maui as part of our Holland America Line 24-Day Mexican Riviera & Circle Hawaii Cruise, an amazing way to escape the Wisconsin cold. While on Maui, we explored a lush rainforest, surrounded by incredible tropical vegetationβsome of which Patti was brave enough to taste πΏπ. We then set out on a hike that led us to a scenic waterfall, making for a classic Maui adventure. Afterward, we headed to the coast to check out the powerful ocean surf and were lucky enough to watch Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu) relaxing and sunning themselves on the beachβan unforgettable sight. We wrapped up the day with a drive to the town of PaΚ»ia, where we did a little souvenir shopping and enjoyed the laid-back, artsy vibe of this charming North Shore town. The ship we cruised on was the Nieuw Amsterdam with Holland America Line. Join us on Facebook in our Rob Mob Group: https://m.facebook.com/groups/226708843531001
