Nassau is considered one of the worst, if not the worst cruise ship port on the planet. It also happens to be one of the busiest, regularly hosting 5 mega-ships each afternoon. As crew members, we have been to Nassau more than any port on the planet, and we are always finding new places to explore and enjoy. Nassau isn't bad at all! We walk from the cruise terminal, through town to the World Famous Straw Market. Then down to Junkanoo Beach, and finally arriving at what I consider the best beach you can get to in Nassau without having to pay for a taxi.
