Creator's Key Takeaways

I've stayed in some of the best and some of the worst cabins on cruise ships, many with features that I never expected to find at sea.

I was surprised to realize that the worst weren't the cheapest, and the best were rarely the most expensive.

This is the only cabin in this list that I would actually pay extra for.

I would rate this cabin as one where I would be happy to have it again, but I wouldn't pay any extra for it.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Consider a virtual balcony cabin to help with daylight problems in inside cabins.
Choose a cabin based on personal preferences, as what annoys others might be what you want.

YouTube Video Description

I’ve stayed in some of the best and some of the worst cabins on cruise ships, many with features I never expected to find at sea. I was surprised to realise that the worst weren’t the cheapest and the best were rarely the most expensive. From windows that go nowhere to questionable decor, strange illusions to bathrooms with no privacy, I’ve tried them all. Some impressed me and others left me wondering why a cruise line would ever make this choice. That means that a person taking a cruise could end up in one of these without meaning to. In this video I’m going to start with the strangest cheapest cabin and we’ll work our way up, getting more expensive. In theory the cabins should get better, but that wasn’t always the case. I’ll let you know where I’d place eacgh cabin on the scale of ‘I loved this room and would pay extra for it’ to ‘I would pay extra to not be given this room again’. Theres only one I’d pay extra for. ▶ FREE COURSE.
