On May 10th the Icon of the Seas made her way to Royal Caribbean's private island of CocoCay in the Bahamas. Arriving early in the morning she was to be the only ship in port that day, but as she approached the island the Independence of the Seas was already docked and waiting for her. After spending a sunny Perfect Day in CocoCay, the ships were both scheduled to depart at 5pm. The independence of the Seas left first departing about 15 minutes before the scheduled time with a horn battle on the way out. After she was cleared the Icon of the Seas then departed just past 5pm.
