Welcome to Harvest Caye — Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island destination in beautiful Belize! If your cruise is stopping here, you’re in for a relaxing beach day mixed with adventure, wildlife, and incredible tropical views. The first thing you’ll notice when arriving at Harvest Caye is how modern and easy it is to explore. The island is connected by a long pier, so there’s no tendering required. Once you step off the ship, you’re greeted with colorful buildings, palm trees, and crystal-clear Caribbean water. One of the biggest highlights here is the massive pool area right in the center of the island. It’s one of the largest pools in the Caribbean, with swim-up bars, plenty of loungers, and a family-friendly atmosphere. If you prefer the ocean, the beach offers soft sand, calm water, and complimentary lounge chairs perfect for relaxing under the Belize sun. For an even more luxurious experience, we spent the day in one of the beach villas at Harvest Caye. These private villas are the perfect upgrade if you want a quieter and more comfortable beach day. They include shaded seating, comfortable loungers, dedicated service, and easy access to the beach and water. It’s an amazing option for families or groups looking for extra space to relax while still being close to all the action on the island. Having a private villa really made the day feel elevated and gave us a perfect home base throughout our time in Belize. For thrill seekers, Harvest Caye also features an incredible zipline that stretches across the island and even over the beach and lagoon. There are also water sports, cabana rentals, and excursions that can take you to mainland Belize for snorkeling, Mayan ruins, river tubing, or rainforest adventures. Animal lovers will enjoy seeing the butterfly garden and the colorful tropical birds around the island. And everywhere you look, there are amazing photo spots with views of the ship, the ocean, and the surrounding mountains of Belize in the distance. When it’s time to eat, there are several bars and restaurants throughout the island serving tropical drinks, local flavors, burgers, tacos, and seafood. Whether you spend the day relaxing by the pool, floating in the ocean, or heading off on an excursion, Harvest Caye offers a little bit of everything.
