Shhh... I have a secret to share. Known to many for ski slopes and the Sound of Music, Austria is one of my favourite destinations when it comes to Europe in summer. Not too hot, not too cold, it's the Goldilocks of Europe weather wise. For landscape, it has staggering rocky peaks, flowery meadows and villages that inspired Arundelle in Disney's Frozen. 🧊 Tirol even has a real underground ice palace, for pixar's sake. 🎭 Vienna is a showstopper with world class art and chocolate cake, while the secret cities of Graz, Linz and Innsbruck bring UNESCO approved design and classical architecture into the mix. 🌊 Ah but no beaches? Not to worry, Austrians head to the lakes. All the fun of splashing around but none of the sand stuck in your shoes.
