Welcome back to my Scottish Highlands & Wales cruises series on the Island Princess and we are in Newcastle. We had an afternoon excursion so we spent the morning on the ship relaxing on deck in the sunshine. When we were out on deck, they brought out some new sun beds and we thought we should try them out and they were very nice. After having some lunch we went down to the dining room to meet our tour group before getting off the ship and starting the tour. Our first stop was the Angel of the North. When we arrived, we took some pictures and selfies with the Angel of the North. After the angel, we drove around Newcastle, and had to guide, told us about the city before dropping us off to have some free time at the shopping centre. We look round the shops and stoped at a coffee shop to have a drink before looking round the rest of the shops. Then it was time to head back to the coach, because we have seen enough. We drove back to the dock where our ship was, then we got ready for dinner and headed down to dinner in the main dining room. I had my first two courses before heading outside on the promenade deck to watch Sill away before heading back inside to have my main and dessert. After dinner, I walked around the ship for bit before heading back to my cabin. Next Day is a sea day
