Creator's Key Takeaways
We spent $220 on this all-inclusive experience which includes the room and we booked it on the Ibero Star website because it was not available on Royal Caribbean or the Shore Excursions Group.
Personally, I think the food in the buffets here is better than the food at the buffet, the Wind Jammer on the cruise ship.
We give it a thumbs up. It's definitely worth it, and we would have 100% do this again.
Make sure you grab cash before your cruise, especially small bills for taxis and tipping.

It’s an amazing time for a full day of fun in Cozumel, Mexico during our Caribbean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas! We booked an all-inclusive day pass to Iberostar Cozumel, one of the most beautiful beachfront resorts on the island; and it was the perfect way to spend our port day. This tropical, eco-style resort features colorful bungalow-style rooms nestled in lush greenery, a massive lagoon-style pool with a swim-up bar, a private beach with calm, crystal-clear water, and a full buffet restaurant with unlimited food and drinks. We took full advantage of the amenities — lounging by the pool, enjoying cocktails, walking the beach and pier, and exploring activities like kayaking, pottery painting, the on-site dive center, and even a cat sanctuary! #MarineroftheSeas #Cozumel #cruise #IberostarCozumel #RoyalCaribbean #TravelCouple #cruiseship #cruisetravel #cruisevacation #RoyalCaribbeanCruise We returned to Mariner of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean’s amplified Voyager-class ships — packed with activities, entertainment, and dining. From the nautical atmosphere of the Schooner Bar and specialty dining venues, to Studio B’s ICE SKATING SHOW, there’s always something happening on board. We tried out Star Wars trivia at the Schooner Bar, caught an incredible headliner show with comedic juggler Michael Holly in the Royal Theater, and enjoyed a delicious Mexican Night dinner in the main dining room. The night wrapped up with the adults-only game show Crazy Quest and dancing at the Club Red party in Studio B!
