Well hello there! Welcome to the next vlog from our recent 7-night Northern Europe cruise onboard MSC Virtuosa! Join us as we begin the morning in our cabin with a wonderful selection of room service breakfast! We didn’t actually order as much as what turned up, but couldn’t believe our eyes at how nice the food looked! We didn't waste any of the food and wrapped it up in the fridge to finish off later. In the early hours of the morning, the ship docked at Hamburg Cruise Terminal, just a quick 15-minute taxi ride out of the centre of the city. As we arrived on a Sunday there wasn’t much to do in the city, but thankfully we had pre-booked tickets to visit Miniatur-Wunderland in the morning. If you are visiting Hamburg anytime soon, we would 100% recommend you taking a visit. As the largest model railway in the world, Miniatur-Wunderland does not disappoint; from its depictions of Venice, to the incredible airport, it was worth every penny. We took a walk round the centre of Hamburg before heading to Frittenwerk for a bite to eat before heading back to the ship. Once back onboard, we had a fairly chilled evening. For dinner we decided to head to ‘Hola! tacos’ onboard, although at an additional cost the food in ‘Hola!’ is so fresh, tasty, and affordable! We decided not to do the all you can eat option as last time we didn’t manage to eat enough to make it worth while, so instead just had a couple of bits from the menu and paid for those individually. After a day of miniature scenes and nacho eating, we sailed away from Hamburg under the darkness of the night sky and enjoyed a few minutes of cold fresh air from our balcony watching all the houses sail on by!
