Join us at Museo de Cera Madrid as we spend an epic day out visiting the Madrid Wax Museum! πͺπΈ If you're looking for the best things to do in the Spanish capital, we went inside this massive collection right in the heart of the city to show you exactly what to expect. It's easily one of the most entertaining spots in Madrid, especially if you want a fun break from the standard art galleries. We started our Museo de Cera Madrid tour walking through centuries of history seeing the Roman Empire and the Kings and Queens of Spain including the brand new 2026 figure of Princess Leonor. It's a huge walkthrough that covers everyone from famous Spanish explorers to legendary scientists. It was actually a really fun way to learn a little bit more about Spanish history. The museum itself is even located in underground vaults in the Plaza de ColΓ³n, right in the centre of Madrid. Visiting the museum is easy enough and within walking distance of other tourists sights. The sports and pop culture sections are where things get really exciting. We saw the wax figures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafa Nadal and Hollywood legends like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise and George Clooney. We even spotted Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez in the music legends area. π€ The highlight of our visit to Museo de Cera Madrid was definitely the Terror Hall and the Wax Horror Experience. It was really scary! We saw horror icons like Jack the Ripper, Leatherface, Pennywise from IT, Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger. It's some of the most fun we've had in Spain so far and one of the best horror experiences we've been to. If you're looking for unique things to do that are just a short walk from the city centre, the Madrid Wax Museum is a solid option for a great bit of fun. It's one of the top things to do in Madrid with kids and even adults will love it. π Read our Museo de Cera Madrid guide and review on the blog π https://curioustourists.com/museo-de-cera-madrid/ 00:00 Welcome to the Museo De Cera! 00:22 Roman Empire 00:53 Kings & Queens of Spain 02:35 Art Gallery 03:10 Famous Explorers & Navigators 04:06 Literary CafΓ© 05:00 The Bull Ring 05:36 Sports Legends 06:01 Terror Hall 06:39 The Wax Horror Experience 08:42 Hollywood Movie Stars 09:24 Politics & Religious Figures 10:02 Music Legends 10:30 Is Madrid Wax Museum Worth It? #madrid #spain #museodecera #madridwaxmuseum #madridtravel _________________________ We're Kolyn & Denis and we're The Curious Tourists! π We're showing you how to see the world without quitting your job.
