For this voyage, the Princess and I opted for a guaranteed balcony cabin and were assigned an oceanview balcony on deck 6. We are back and want to share every detail of this accommodation with you in our newly amplified Freedom of the Seas Balcony Cabin Tour and Review. If you enjoy the video, please make sure to give it a BIG THUMBS UP! Balcony staterooms are among the most popular cabin categories on cruise ships. For this cruise, we stayed in a Deck 6 midship room, right next to the elevators. It was a perfect location to get up to the pool deck or down to the main areas on Decks 3-5. The room’s layout was pretty standard, with the bed situated next to the balcony door. There was a desk that provided limited space for storage and was the Princess' main station for getting ready each day. Closet space was on par with other cruise lines, as was the seating area. As we toured the Freedom of the Seas Balcony cabin, we felt there was adequate room for two adults. One big miss in the stateroom was the lack of USB outlets near the bed. It also did not receive any upgrades during the amplification process. The room still contained Royal Caribbean's old color palette and dated furniture.
