Oceana arrival with Aurora & Arcadia departures Southampton 16/12/17

Saturday 16/12/17 was a very interesting afternoon with the arrival of P&O Cruise Ship the "Oceana" returning to Southampton Docks from her recent sea trials in the channel. Then we also had the departures of another two P&O Cruise Ships the "Aurora" & "Arcadia". The "Oceana" made her arrival back in Southampton from her recent sea trials in the channel when she left on the 15/12/17, she had the assistance of tugs Svitzer Eston & Ferriby. On her way in she passed "Arcadia" in the Ocean Cruise Terminal they both made the usual greeting of horns "Oceana" was heading towards the Mayflower Cruise Terminal but "Aurora" was still on the berth as Oceana approached Aurora she too greeted Oceana with the sound of horns. The "Oceana" had to turn in the upper swinging ground and waited for Aurora to vacate the berth first as Oceana's scheduled time for that berth was 17:00pm. The "Aurora" departed from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 16:36pm for a 3 Night Belgium Cruise to Zeebrugge. Then after a very long delay of nearly 4 hours due to stores still being loaded and other things the "Arcadia" eventually left Ocean Cruise Terminal at 20:20pm for a 24 Night Spain, Caribbean and Azores Cruise with her first port of call La Coruna in Spain she will be away until the 09/01/18.
