The first cruise ships to visit Southampton Docks in 2014 came in on Thursday 2nd January. They were Cunard's "Queen Victoria" - at the 'Ocean' Terminal, P&O Cruises' "Oceana" - at the 'Mayflower' Terminal & Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Boudicca" - at the 'City' Terminal. The first to sail in the evening was "Oceana" at 17:29 (having originally been due to sail at 17:00). She saluted with "Queen Victoria" as she passed before receiving a fireworks display as she passed the dockhead. She was heading off on a 28-night Caribbean Cruise with the first Port of Call being Funchal, Madeira, returning to Southampton on Thursday 30th January. "Queen Victoria" was due to depart at 18:00 and left at around 17:56. She also received a fireworks send-off as this was the beginning of her 2014 World Cruise with the first Port of Call being Ponta Delgado, Azores. She will return to Southampton on Monday 28th April. "Boudicca" was originally due to sail at 21:00 but her time was brought forwards and she left around 19:00. Because of this I missed her sailing - hence why she is not included in this video. She was heading off on a 35-night Caribbean Cruise with the first Port of Call being Tenerife, Canary Islands and returning to Southampton on Thursday 6th February. Also features the Car Carrier "Autoprogress" moving between Berths 105 & 31. Viewed from Town Quay.
