This is the definitive Odyssey of the Seas tour video. Filmed during the April 9th to April 17th 8 night Southern Caribbean sailing, it covers every public space onboard. The Odyssey of the Seas is the 5th and final vessel in Royal Caribbean's ground breaking Quantum Class of ships. While the first in class, Quantum of the Seas delivered in the Fall of 2014, the second, Anthem of the Seas in Spring of 2015, and the third, Ovation of the Seas in Spring of 2016 featured near identical designs, the last two in the class took some chances and improved upon the design. These vessels became known as the Quantum Ultra class, but in a change from the norm, they did grow the size of the vessels. When the Spectrum of the Seas was delivered in the Spring of 2019 she became the first Royal Caribbean vessel built specifically for the Asian market. As a result the vessel was modified to create a suite block in the top deck of the ship replacing forward areas. In addition to this major redesign the four distinct dining venues that were the central feature of the Quantum Class were finally removed and replaced by a single traditional dining room that spans two decks with an opening that extends into the Roundabout above it. The vessel also received the addition of SkyPad bungee trampolines on the back deck. When announced she became the first Quantum Class vessel designed for warm weather, a drastic departure from the class’ winter weather purpose. The vessel is considered to be the second of the Quantum Ultra Class, but in reality returned to the original Quantum Class design starting with the layout of the Ovation of the Seas for its base instead of continuing with the Spectrum of the Seas design. It includes the new Main Dining Room design and SkyPad from Spectrum while also introducing a new SeaPlex design that replaces the four pods with 2 large pods. The most noticeable change is the complete redesign of the pool deck with the indoor pool losing it's enclosure for the first time making the Odyssey of the Seas technically the smallest of vessel in it's class despite being the last. The main pool deck and Splashaway Bay area received a redesign that for the first time removed the divider that was meant to hold a TV that was moved prior to the Quantum of the Seas being delivered. The sundeck above the pool area also received the inclusion of the new caribbean vibe with two hot tubs & some Casitas for rent.
