About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

See what we did during our visit to Ensenada Mexico via a Carnival Cruise on the Carnival Imagination in December 2018. Take a tour at the Ensenada cruise port (Muelle de cruceros Ensenada) area & terminal building. You can actually do quite a bit of shopping inside. Next we took a shuttle to downtown which cost $4 round-trip per person. The pickup/drop-off area was on Macheros street next to the Tourist Information Center. Once downtown we visited the famous fish market called Mercado Negro where we saw various fresh seafood including huge shrimps, clams, geoduck, crab, and even sun fish. We then at some Ensenada Fish Tacos at a restaurant next to the market. Afterwards we went to Calle Primera aka First Street took a tax to the Ensenada Mirador, a viewpoint on top of a hill nearby, for a beautiful sprawling view of the city & its surroundings. Some notable areas we saw included the Gran Peninsula Shipyard, the Ensenada International Terminal, Playa Hermosa which we certainly plan to check out next time we visit Ensenada. Back downtown we perused main street and then visited Civic Plaza de la Patria with the big head statues- though they did not fly the big flag that day. We then checked out the surroundings some more- quite a few interesting stores in town including ones that sell fireworks & guitars together, and many, many pharmacies. On the way back we saw the "Heart" of Ensenada, which was literally a sculpture of a heart which was pretty interesting. We had the shuttle drop us off at the entrance so we could have some nice views of the cruise ships, and take photos with the Puerto de Ensenada sign. Our cruise ship was docked next to the Princess Cruises Emerald Princess, and we were able to capture her leaving Ensenada after sundown. Enjoy and please feel free to comment & ask questions if you have any! #carnivalcruise #ensenada
