On day 6 of our Island Princess Iceland and Greenland cruise we docked at our first port of call in Iceland, Akureyri. We had booked a visit to the Forest Lagoon in the afternoon so during the morning we explored the town of Akureyri revisiting a number of places from our Enchanted Princess cruise. The Forest lagoon was an incredible experience and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend visiting. Back onboard Island Princess we made the most of the weather and sat on the pool deck. The show in the main theatre was Shelley Rivers and she was fantastic. We ended the evening in the Explorers Lounge with some Karaoke. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked. Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port.
