We started off Night 1 on the Disney Magic with our dinner at Rapunzel's Royal Table. This is the rotation I requested, as this is the only dinner with a show. The show is fantastic, very interactive and so much fun. Our Rider, dressed up as Flynn Rider, which was a hit with all the characters. He definitely received some special attention because of that. While our service was slow (a theme throughout our cruise), the food was fantastic. We skipped dessert to head to the Pumpkin Tree Lighting. When looking for a spot to watch the tree lighting, a photographer who had photographed us earlier suggested that we get in line for a Spooky Surprise. We listened! Not only was she right, it actually was a great spot to watch the tree lighting. And at the end, the Sanderson Sisters came out. Only one photo per family was allowed (no individual photos) and no autographs, so this made the line move rather quickly. It was great to get this photo the first night! Rider then went to the Oceaneer Club and Ray and I had a drink at the newly renovated Soul Cat Lounge and watched Tangled The Musical and Match Your Mate.
