On this cruise, the itinerary is completely new to us! Four new ports... that is so exciting! First up in Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. We had been told it looks like Jurassic Park as you sail in and it is so true... well the movie was partially filmed here! The landscape is just beautiful and we can't wait to explore. Once onboard we piddle around the port for a bit and then are determined to get to the beach. We walk out of the port area and it is just a short taxi ride there. The beach is small and perfectly shaded by palm trees and it also has great views of the ship. After having a local beer and relaxing for a bit, we head back to the port area to check out the pool. This port is owned by the Carnival Corporation so only those ships dock here. There is a great pool - it is huge! There are slides, splash areas for the kids and even a zip line. It is a great place to spend the day! Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! Get to know our family and come along with us on our vacations...
