Royal Caribbean has often held a Captain's Corner event during each sailing. This special event gives guests the opportunity to ask questions to the Captain, Cruise Director, and other officers. On the Ovation of the Seas' May 13th 11 Night Alaskan Glacier Sailing this event was split over two days. On the morning of the 22nd they held an event in Two70 called The View From the Top. This new event was the traditional format with a selection of officers, but no captain. The traditional Captain's Corner was then held the next day on the 23rd with just the captain.
