Creator's Key Takeaways
It is a beautiful sunny day.
That will drop us straight at the cathedral, which should save us a whole lot of time and a whole lot of leg.
Another thing that's amazing is the crowds that are here to go see that cathedral.
Beautiful. Wouldn't that be a hefty price tag on those nice little apartments if they are dwellings?

Exploring beautiful Palma de Mallorca straight from the cruise port — no shore excursion needed! From the moment we arrived, it was easy to enjoy the city at our own pace. Taxi tours were available right at the port, and the hop-on-hop-off bus conveniently stopped near the famous cathedral, but we decided to skip the organized tours and simply wander through the charming streets of Palma. Along the way, we captured incredible views of the stunning cathedral and royal palace, stepped back in time at the ancient Roman Baths, and discovered hidden corners of the city full of character and history. We enjoyed delicious empanadas at a local restaurant, admired the famous centuries-old olive tree at Plaça de Cort, and cooled off with gelato while relaxing in the shade. If you’re visiting Palma de Mallorca on a cruise and wondering whether you can explore independently, this video will show just how easy and rewarding a self-guided day in the city can be!
