YouTube Video Description

Today on Travels With The Russells, we’re back in beautiful George Town, Penang for Part 2 of our cruise ship excursion — and this one is packed with iconic sights, culture, and jaw-dropping views. We start by riding the famous Penang Hill Funicular Railway, one of Asia’s steepest railways, climbing high above the city for cooler air, sweeping rainforest views, and panoramic scenes across George Town and the Malacca Strait. Fun fact: locals once rode in wooden carriages pulled by hand… we’re very glad technology stepped in 😄 Next, at Penang Hill we visit the colourful and spiritual Thirumurugan Temple, a striking Hindu temple filled with intricate statues, bold colours, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Finally we travel back down and go explore the vast Kek Lok Si Temple Complex, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. From the towering Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas to the magnificent bronze statue of Kuan Yin, this place is absolutely unforgettable — and surprisingly calm for such a huge site. This video is perfect if you’re: ✔️ Cruising to Penang ✔️ Planning a Malaysia trip ✔️ Curious about Penang shore excursions ✔️ Or just love temples, views, and real travel experiences 👍 If you enjoy relaxed, honest cruise and travel videos, please like, subscribe, and comment — it really helps the channel grow. 👉 Join our friendly Facebook community here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/372710791279047/ #Penang #georgetownpenang #penanghill #KekLokSi #MalaysiaCruise #CruiseExcursion #AsiaCruise #PenangTemples #MalaysiaTravel #CruiseVlog #PenangFunicular #BuddhistTemple #HinduTemple #CruiseLife #ShoreExcursion #TravelsWithTheRussells #celebritymillennium #celebritycruises #cruisevlog #over60travel
