Cruise Ships Sapphire Princess, Aurora & Independence of The Seas all departed from Southampton today the 16th June 2018, the weather was dry, cloudy and a bit on the breezy side. Princess Cruises "Sapphire Princess" was the first to depart from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at 16:35pm she was delayed by just over half an hour due to having to wait for a car carrier to arrive and berth in 40 berth before she could get underway for a 7 Night Cruise to the Norwegian Fjords & her first port of call is Stavanger in Norway. P&O Cruises "Aurora" was the next to get underway from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 16:54pm and she was also slightly delayed by about 25 minutes, she had to have a tug to help her away from the Cruise Terminal. She is away for a 14 Night Cruise to Norway, Iceland & Ireland and her first port of call is Flam in Norway. Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship "Independence of The Seas" got underway at 17:23pm from the City Cruise Terminal, she was also held up before she could finally sail & she was delayed by nearly 55 minutes due to having to wait for a car carrier to depart from 105 berth and then to wait further for "Aurora" to pass by before finally being able to depart from City Cruise Terminal for 14 Night Cruise to the Mediterranean & her first port call is Gibraltar.
